At 7pm this Wednesday, Cindy will be speaking about the Digital Intimacy Project at Unallocated.

DIGITAL INTIMACY explores surveillance psychology of intimate personal data as marketplace currency. A multichannel installation merges realtime information from sensors surrounding viewers. Information gathered is video-mapped on 1950’s-style kitchen and living room furnishings. Audio channels include realtime spatialized musical sonifications of live stock tickers and computer-generated voices narrating text in personal social media accounts.

The following are the general categories of data gathering technologies we are looking at, and we’ve been interested in and we want to hear the thoughts of security-experienced people.

•Bluetooth
•RFID
•NFC
•Optical Character Recognition
