Why stay at home when you can ride out the hurricane at Unallocated Space?
The monthly UAS LAN Party starts at 5 PM on Saturday, right around when the storm is set to hit us. We’ll be playing UT2k4, Team Fortress II, Left for Dead and whatever other games we’ve got up our sleeves. We added some major power and networking improvements underneath the loft to maximize available space.
And when the power goes out, we’ve got candles, blankets, bottled water and lots of ready to eat food. We’re also in a Zone C flood area, so there’s very little chance of a storm surge or flood hitting our location. Our strong, newly built brick building will also keep us safe from the wind. Basically, we’ve got everything you need to help you ride out the storm and have a great time doing it. Feel free to spend the night here at the space!
During the storm, there’s not going to be a lot you can do about your house so you might as well come to UAS and party with us!
